How about we sit with this for a few months, then revisit it as we did the unlimited editing time? We might find that it's not such a big deal, then again we might think, "Whew, this could really use a change!" We're always open to working what we can, while ensuring the forums run as smoothly as possible.  BTW, I think your posting is polite as well, and there's a warmth present in your posting. KD

Don't be too disheartened. I really think these issues can subsequently be addressed in a different way that would make it easier on everyone, and restore unlimited edits. I don't know the specifics, Mari, names and places and what, but i do get the sense this is a "needed it yesterday" type action, hence the "here's-the-deal and so shall it be" approach. I hope i am correctly interpreting the intent and actions of the powers that be here. But i'm getting your feeling upset about not having input part. really. you are not alone. no way. ~ waves ~ |
