Well I had to postphone the support group talk,

And it looks like its not happening next week either.

I now have to figure out how to tell my supervisor, I don't
have a way to put in the veteran's day hours.

Hmmm, I don't know that she will authorize them for overtime,
and I don't blame her.

Anyway, I did make a mess of my travel claim, But its working
great. I've needed some guidance for a while as how to fill
this form out.

It just doesn't have a exact way if you ask me. And I always
leave something out. Usually pages of one or two columns, I'm
not upset with my self.

I only left out one section of In and out time, of three pages. So it was
good.

But she said it was a big mess. Which I already knew, I figured I was
going to have to redo.

But no she is just going to bring with her to go over. Which I'm
more than happy with.

Hmmm, could it be its been that good a year. Nah.

But I picked up a really interesting case today, a seizure alert dog.

Thanks Waves

I had 4 case conferences this week. And have hmmm, 3 or 4 next week i think. hmmm, need to sit down and figure out what all.

But anyway, I am not a happy camper, we have been told a person I don't want at Derrick's conference has to be there. Well gosh, bet I don't stay
if things get out of hand. There is no reason, I have to have someone
I don't want there.

But alas, i will try.

(((Donna)))

i am sorry this is happening. i hope the person you don't want isn't there after all. otherwise, do the best you can. i believe you will know what to do when the time comes. you have great instincts and seem to be in touch with them.

Well today, is my first ever Service dog case. To say I am not excited
would be wrong.

I am even more excited that its a Seizure Alert Dog. I hope we can come to a agreement in the best interest of the child and dog. I don't believe the parents are requesting anything that the school shouldn't give.

I do realize there are some worries for later, but for now.

Tomorrow, is my general education evaluation, for the student that has
had a Suspension, that they are trying to expell for the rest of the year.
We were looking at OHI, and Emotional disabilities, but the small glimpse
they gave so far to the parent, is saying no. But mom has learned that
he can't do math but 2 years below his level. We didn't ask for Specific
Learning Disabilities. And they haven't exactly finished in my thoughts
the ADHD papers, because he was already out of school when the evaluation happened. Unless they went to the place he is doing the 3 hour program.

And if that were the case, I think we would have better grounds. I am not
liking this that we haven't seen any evaluation paperwork. I am sure I told
mom to ask for it 5 days ahead of time, even 1 or 2 in this case would have been good.

Thursday, is my review. First I get for sure to work on the mess of a travel claim I sent in. I knew it was bad. But I can't hardly handle the forms. And I had way more than I should have. So it will be nice to work through it.

then we will see, I haven't been taking the case conference evaluation pages to all my cases, so the school and parent can fill them out and send in.

Friday, I was to be off. But I'm going to talk to a class at Purdue. Should
be fun, taking two or three parents. I am debating trying to talk my daughter-in-law into going and explaining how it felt to hear what she did last week.

Next week is filling up fast. I am going to take some personal or vacation time soon. Need to do the paperwork, and take it with me Thursday so my supervisor can have it.

**** Should be getting my computer back******

you have such a niche for this work. I too struggle with the paper work side of my business. You have alot more than me. I am glad to hear that you will take some time off to get things in order. Some how you juggle your family too.
I think you are amazing.

Todays seizure alert dog conference went well.

I believe with a little time, the family will have all they wanted and
a happy school. Thats always my goal.

Thanks mari

I'm frustrated with the conference I was in today. I wasn't helpful to my parent. We didnt' get the IEP he needed, but she will be appealing to a higher court so to say.

I really believe a emotional disability is involved, or I wouldn't have suggested she take it further. But its going to take a lot of work to get this through.

But I don't understand why the psychologist was so negative about helping
the student. When it was very much shown he needs it.

He has even shown it in his alternative placement, by having problems after 3 weeks.
