Default Hi Mandy

Welcome!

Bipolar manifests differently with everyone, and it can be hard to find the right combination of meds. it is important to have a good psychiatrist (pdoc) that will work with your husband and be responsive to his needs as he goes through different episodes.

Would you like to share a little more about your husband... what are the main issues he is having...

does he have a pdoc? taking any meds, if so which ones?

what about a therapist? i would recommend you both see a therapist, together or separately because you both will need support to help you through the rough patches.

Talk to us.

~ waves ~ with well wishes

Dear Mandy,
There are almost an infinite number of ways that pdocs can work with the meds:

~combinations,
~doses
~times day

Your husband needs a supportive and creative pdoc. Is your husband interested in seeking out a new psychiatrist?

Hi Mandy

I'm Donna and I'm a parent to special needs adult kids. And grandma to
kids with special needs.

I have a son that has some issues.

I also recommend just sitting back, taking a deep breath and writing down
everything that you've tried. What isn't working, and what might have
worked at one time.

Keep letting us know how we can help.

Donna
