Bizi,

I wondered what was in the friend butter balls. Your post motivated me to look it up. This is from a Paula Deen site:

2 ounces cream cheese
Salt and pepper
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
Peanut oil, for frying

I am not sure what the point of the butter balls is. Maybe, despite the ingredient list, they taste good..
