:)It's good, you're able to take anti-depressants! You'll be in my
thoughts and prayers, so, hopefully, they have a great effect
on you!!:D :(I'm not able to take any, because, too many of them
"can", cause siezures and I have a siezure disorder, already!:p
Hoping and praying you feel better soon!!!

Dear Phyllis

Dear Phyllis,

i am sorry you are depressed AND now dealing with seizures! :( yes i realize a lot of antidepressants can worsen them.:(

i hope you feel better soon. :heartthrob: depression usually goes away on it's own EVENTUALLY... but it sucks having to just sit there and wait it out...

do you have a good neurologist or epileptologist working with you to get the seizures under control?

lots of (((((((hugs)))))))

Re: depression

I really wish all of us on this thread didn't have to suffer with depression. I wish there were some magic that could happen to make it go away. I pray and that is not enough. I care about all of you who are going through this. I believe our medical conditions, and situations on the home front cause much of it. However, I feel good coming back here where I know people understand. I wish all of you the best ginnie

Phyllis

My son also has seizures, He is 8 months seizure free finally for the first time, he takes 3 different seizure meds. And has the VNS, you might look into the VNS, because its used for seizures and depression too. Its something that can work for both.

My son has been lucky that its working so well. Its helped his anxiety also.

He has had his for 7 years now, on his 2nd battery.
