Smile We move clocks BACK one hour Saturday night

Hello,

Daylight Saving Time in most of the U.S. ends this weekend.
Saturday night / Sunday morning at 2:00 am we move the clocks back one hour.
It will be darker earlier. We gain an hour of sleep that night.

Daylight Saving Time 2011 Ends This Weekend

Quote:
This weekend, at 2:00 AM on November 6th, Daylight Saving Time will end, and revert back to Standard Time. You’ll need to wind back the clock one hour, going back in time (incredible!) to 1:00 AM, at least for all of your old-fashioned gadgetry that won’t do it automatically.
My electronic gadgets re-set time automatically.
The rest I do manually:
~two watches,
~the clock in the car,
~three alarm clocks in the bedroom,
~the two kitchen-type clocks with big faces high on the wall that will need hubby's help.

As I type that list, I see why I get stressed about time.

I can't believe that it will be dark here around 5pm after we fall back...

I hate the time change thing... I grew up in a state that never changed our clocks until just a few years ago. I wanna go back to the good old days.... and leave my clocks alone!!!!!

I agree with Abbie.

We did the same, and I miss the same things.

Were are the good old days.

In the U.S. change clocks back one hour tonight (Saturday) before you go to bed.

I think we use to turn them back the last weekend in October. But, with the Halloween festivities prompted the wait for first week of Nov. It was noticible for me taking the grandson around that the daylight was still out after supper and only endured an hour in darkness to treat around the neighborhood.
