Default I had my apartment painted

after fifteen years. It really needed it but I was afraid of the stress. It turned into another miracle. The super and the painter did everything and I didn't have to lift a finger. I lay on the couch and smoked read and shared the music and they painted and moved the furniture and objects as they went along. The apartment was done in less than a day and a half. It was embarrassing. The last morning, I wound up failing asleep. (As usual I had gotten very little sleep...one and half hours the previous night) and woke up to find the painter gone. I called down to the doorman and asked if he could tell the painter and the super I had tips for them. Within ten minutes, they bought came up together and I gave them tips....
I was shocked that after the apartment was painted, it looked normal and I wasn't shellshocked by its cleaniness. There was a huge contrast while they were painting.....
At this point, I have no set time to sleep...I seem to get more energy as the day progresses. I told one friend I think I have become a cat....just getting naps....and my anxiety isn't rising.....emotionally I am still exhausted and can only really read.

Dear Bobby,
What a relief to get a miracle once in a while.

Did they use a color in the white family?
Do you feel more secure about staying now that they spent a day and half painting for you?

I like that you were able to lie on the couch more or less relaxed it seems while they were about their work.

You are right about sleeping when you can and reading when you want.
You sound like you are dealing with your days and nights.

they used linen with an eggshell finish...
thanks about the heads up about sleeping....I got so stressed out worrying about it that I decided to just let it be and see what happens....especially since I can't seem to do anything about it....why hit my head against a brick wall? Do you take naps? How much sleep do you get straight through?

I love new paint on the walls. It feels so good. I am glad that it didn't stress you.

Sleep when you can. Kitties and puppies do it and they are happy as clams.

Heart a nap a day keeps the doctor away

oh it was an apple not a nap. you're only short ple... how about please.

you / they did a great job. even if you were stressed you got through it and really well.

your post sounds good. even if you can only lie on the couch and read... that is ok. you sound in better spirits. and i think this painting experience is proof of the pudding.

i hope i do not overstep in reading things.

love you, miss you

I MISS YOU TOO...sorry I haven't written but I haven't had the energy...all I seem to do is crash..today was one big crash day...you know me very well so I guess you get the picture.
I have been listening nonstop to gordon lightfoot...he is like a minstrel...I am reading at a much slower pace...it is frustrating....
the big relief of having the apartment hasn't set in yet...I guess I am still in shock. who would have guessed
I love you
Bobby and please excuse my not writing to you

Heart hey there!

Erhm... about not writing... Those aren't excuses! ... Those are REASONS! And yes, i get the picture.

just write when you can i'd love to hear from you. meanwhile i'll send you cute dawgie pix when i come around to some

keep on just being... you are sounding better, at least to me. you'll adjust to not reading as fast - i'm relieved as it sounds your thinking is not such a flurry, but i know first hand how frustrating that is. the apt painting... stress... id' believe it! but, you will get used to it. it is external.

Now i've heard of Gordon Lightfoot. I believe there is one song i really like but i cant dream up what it is. don't know his music overall though. Glad you find it soothing.

love you too. thanks for posting back.

That is so great you got your place painted Bobby! I am glad it worked out so well for you and that they did all the hard work so you didn't have to do anything but sit there and read and smoke.

Glad to hear from you, was wondering how you've been.
