Doing well on new dosage
 

I seem to be doing well on new dosage. Either that or my getting sick, was part of what was wrong.

Because I have now had just one minor/major migraine. I caught it early
enough yesterday. I could still go for my massage. Which I needed really
bad. Because I have had really bad back/hip and right leg issues. Then
by the time I got there yesterday my neck was really bad.

But other than the leg and hip its much better today.

So as of now I've taken one of the new prescriptions of imitrex.

In about 2 weeks this is not a bad record for the imitrex.

The next two weeks are going to be very stressful for the two. Sabrina
got served with papers that her ex wants to see his daughter.

Well it was his decision about 5 years ago. After the second time he molested her, and the police couldn't prove it to stop coming and getting
her. So we aren't sure why he stopped. So why all the sudden he is
wanting to start again we aren't sure. Other than she is growing into a
nice young lady.

But she doesn't want to go see him, let alone how her mom feels. She
has been in therapy every since. And they have a restraining order.
Every since he came out her looking for were they live about a month
or so ago. So we hope it wont happen.

She has asked me to come to court to help her. She has cognitive
issues. And doesn't always understand what is going on.

My granddaughters case manager will be there for her. And a family
friend is going with us.

I found out today when I went to my primary, to the nurse practioneer
that its not my back. But my scaiitic that is bothering me. Sorry I'm
not sure I spelled that right.

But she gave me some x-rays for my back to try and help the pain.
And told me to use heat and tylenol. That ibprofen would upset
my stomach.


And we decided that Physical Therapy would be a good try. So I am
waiting on them to call to set up the therapy.

If you have any websites I'd apprecite the help. I can't seem to
find many. When I search I find some odd things.

Hi, Donna,
Your nurse practictioner says the same thing the the Mayo Clinic says. Your physical therapist will help. Maybe he / she can have you do some stretching.
It depends on what is causing the Sciatica problem. Alternating heat and cold can work for some people. Tylenol sounds right.
Also, massage.

Its been 3 weeks I believe since I went to the Neurologist for my migraines.
If not that it was 4 weeks. I haven't done too bad, today I took my 4th
imitrex. I feel like its been pretty good for me. Since last month I took
all 9 of them in 4 weeks or less.

I haven't felt well this last week. I think I figured out why today. So I started back on the metamucil today. And its been a better evening. Hopefully by tomorrow, I'll feel lots better.

I didn't get to go to the retirement open house for the Director of one of
my biggest and best Special Education Area's. It made me sad, but I didn't
feel well enough to drive it. And I was afraid I'd make a fool of myself at
the afair. By getting sick. I will get a card still and drop it off.
Just sad I missed such a neat chance to give my regards.

I have a case conference, tomorrow. Hoping to feel better. So I dont
have to cancel.

Then on Friday, I go to court with my daughter-in-law. It turns out its
in our little county. So that makes it better for her. ITs also were
she got the restraining order about 2 months ago or less.

Hopefully it will go better.

Also tomorrow is Derrick's last day of school.

Glad to hear your migraines have lessened at least some it seems... i guess just keep tracking... i guess i was hoping the Topamax would give you better coverage... maybe it will after more time that you take it. i am glad you have the Imitrex and that it works.

good luck to your daughter-in-law for court. glad it is in a familiar surrounding for her. home turf always helps, at very least comfort-wise.

I haven't been to my massage for 2 weeks this is the 2nd week either.

I also think that is part of my problem. I just didn't have both the time,
or money this week. And haven't felt well enough this week.

I will be going next week either way. I can ask her to hold my check
till Friday. SHe has before.

She totally understands the problem and since I get paid every two weeks
she is good about it. Usually she doesn't cash till the end of week anyway.

But just in case. I always when I need the favor ask.

Got in to my favor PT too for Wednesday that will help too.

I missed going to the case conference today. But my body is protesting
something, so I had to stay home.:grouphug:
