Honestly don't know.
I would guess since he is still on the Ulceritis medicine. Its definately still that. I'm guessing now he is lactose intolerant. He doesn't drink milk. And watches what he eats with it. No salads either. He has certain foods he can't eat. Donna:grouphug::hug: |

That's good that he does not drink milk. Is there a way for him to meet with a dietician who can help him come up with food plans? M |
Probably, but we are working day to day.
Right now we are still working to get a regular doctor. I need to remind my husband to stop at the office and do that while they are out getting the van battery. It was on the list originally for today. Thanks. He is feeling lots better right now. Its almost like he is in remission. But I wouldn't dare tell him that. Donna:grouphug::hug: |
What good news Donna, Glad it is nothing serious, but sorry he has so many miserable symptoms.
Myself, dd and one ds are terrible lactose intolerant. The older I got the more it affected me. There is so much hidden lactose in processed products, hot dogs; even things like a small amount of cole slaw, or summer salads with mayo kill me. I guess it is the eggs. With the lactose intolerance the eggs aggrivate too. Yet I can make chipped beef in cream sauce, on toast and I am not sure it is the heat kills the active sugar part, but I can tolerate it. But not Alfredo sauce? Read about the hidden lactose in foods, I just kinda know what will flare and stay away from it. Especially if working and on the road. Hope he feels better, di |
Luckily he can have eggs. He eats lots of them.
Its one food he really enjoys. its how he eats them that matters. So we are careful how they are cooked. Mainly they are scrambled. Just like me he can't have many fried ones. Donna:grouphug::hug: |
Let me share what kills me... (I have gastric ulcers since I was 18):
onion lettuce carrot cucumber milk As silly as it may sound, it took me AGES to realize what was killing me... I thought it was chocolate, coffee, etc... and... voila ! it was the above... We have to listen to our bodies because to be honest, I never liked the above... (well, I love milk, I take it without lactose) Take care of ds ! |
