Bizi

You can do what you put your mind to.

First I think you need to get back to the Gym, I think that is one thing
that will also help you.

I will also be here for you.

have you ever thought of getting a puppy? it could open up a different world.
my friend has enjoyed doing agility so very much but you don't even need to do agility. puppies are so affectionate. if you thought your therapist was judgmental get rid of her fast. you are in trouble and the last thing you need is to feel somebody judging you. we are all mentally ill on this forum even though it still sounds horrible. how are we supposed to embrace it and then embrace ourselves? how are we supposed to ride out the storms when the only people who seem to get it are people who have the same mental illness?

ps I have found Donna very helpful and caring-there are exceptions

Thanks Bobby

Its technically because I have so much family that has been there and I can see the pain they are in. And I want to help them. So I also want to help you.

But I sometimes just hope I don't say the wrong thing. When I am sleep deprived.

Red face

bless you my friends,
thank you for your support. I am going to bump up the diet thread as that is how I am going to look at this...I am going on a diet and not drinking any calories, just plain water or diet drinks.
I am going to start going back to the gym this week. I must make that a priority you are right donna.
I think a puppy would be overwhelming, but thanks for your note bobby.
bizi who already wants a cider....sigh

Bizi....
I have had to drop way back on my soda because of the caffeine...
So, I am drinking a lot of water. I recently found MIO. It comes in many flavors. Wal-Mart also has it's brand with different flavors. The nice thing about these....the flavors are GREAT and most have zero calories!!!!

Just thought I would let you know because I found drinking regular water boring after a while and found myself wanting a BIG DIET COKE!!!!

The nice thing about MIO is you can adjust the amount of flavor you want in your drink or even mix flavors to make you own.

Hoping I'm not stepping on toes....

Heart Oh dear!!

Dear Bizi

hey.... sounds past hypo (bought car!) ... sometimes the prelude hypomania is subtle.

glad u told pdoc about drinking even if she had fit and i hope Jeff agrees to go with you to the next session. I do think that would be helpful. Wrt how bad the problem is or what sort of solution you need, i don't know if AA or whatever is right for you, you will have to decide. Also remember even if you take a more aggressive path right now, when you are stable again, you can re-evaluate things with a clearer head. However in both cases i agree with pdoc - do, look up the definition (i've forgotten it) and see for yourself. then decide based on that and your history.

Pls get Jeff to hold your plastic & checkbook and go out with minimal cash and no jewellery or other valuables.

my thoughts are with you. i hope pdoc uptweaked your geodon to help you.

hang in there sweetie ((((hugs))))

Dear Bizi,

Have you and the pdoc agreed to more frequent appointments during this time?

Do you feel that you are getting enough sleep?
Habe you been skipping meds sometimes?
I think I remember that you are already at what the pdoc considers the highest dose for Geodon. Can the pdoc give you another mood stabilizer at small dose to help you for a few weeks?

The gym will help you. YOu can take comfort in knowing that the gym has worked for you in the past.

Lots of hugs.

Heart Dear Bizi.

That's what I do. I have bottled water that I drink from the refrigerator.

Depression, anxiety, mania, and fear are horrible things to go through. I use to drink beer, and when I wanted to,I drank 151 rum in a soft drink. I used it to self medicate. I understand drinking to self medicate, and get relief. It didn't last forever. It became one of the problems. I stopped drinking many years ago by the grace of God.

Bizi I understand the self medicating which is what you,and I did with alcohol. If it's getting out of control, your eye's open to it,and you get a whole new strength to stop.

The doctor needs to realize that it's not the alcohol, but the real problem is depression, anxiety, and mania, and mental health issues.

I wouldn't tell the doctor to much about the alcohol, because he may get the wrong idea about the mental health issues that are horrible to live with, and you where trying to get some relief. BF
