Heart travel prepping

Dear Mari,

your list looks good to me.
you are very sensible and practical and you will make it through this.

it's ok to bring extra things. decision making is stressful and having to whittle down your baggage requires lots of decisions... that can be avoided. i am glad hubby is accepting this.

other things i always do a sanity check on before locking up for a major trip are

-- id's (i don't assume "usual" location)
-- relevant keys, passes, tickets etc
-- cash / 2 credit cards / ATM

a final thought but i doubt this applies. if you will need the internet for work, from the hotel, when you call to confirm the room, you might verify they have internet up and running, be it in your room or at a dedicated workstation.

hang in there. one thing at a time. you'll be just fine. i know you will.

((( hugs )))

Red face Argh!

Dear Mari

I hope you managed to get out of that conference thingie. ack!

Is there anything that might help you perk you up a little bit?

...a few minutes of meditation? ...cup of tea?

I am sorry you are so tired. sleep deprivation sucks.

((( energizing hugs )))

I clicked off the work call without saying good-bye.

Work Buddy called. He and his wife have not left yet because his car is not working and he put it in the shop. He will have to get a rental car.
I asked if he and his wife want to ride with us because hubby and I have room ( except for the suitcases ( !!).

He said no. He said he feels better knowing that hubby and I have not left yet either. --- I guess he is experiencing some stress. BUt maybe he and his wife are all packed --- just do not have a car yet.

Ids ---yes
I called to check the hotel room a few minutes ago -- They gave me a confirmation number
I will check with hubby about credit cards -- he usually has them in the wallet
I got cash out of the bank two days ago but money is tight because we do not get paid until Friday.

Thanks for the reminder about Internet working.

I think I need to make some black tea for caffeine.

I took a full shower and washed my hair. I am done with that for a few days.
I drank the tea.
Still feel sleeping.

I need to type out my pills here to make sure that I have all of them:

Klonopin
Verapamil
Gabapentin
Aspirin

Good -- now the pill minder is done and ready for the suitcase. Some extra Klonopin will stay in purse. 'Will bring extra aspirin and tylenol in case Hubby needs something.

Default update again

Hubby heated up some chicken and mixed cut up cucumber with yogurt in a bowl for me. It turns out I am not hungry.

One of the political campaigns called to ask

1 if I am voting for their guy -- yes
2 if I will volunteer to help with phone calls --- no

'Told me to please vote early because they are really counting on people voting early -- I told her that I would do that.

Mari

Don't want to stress you out. But maybe you could keep your pill
minder in your purse.

Smile Leaving in a few mins

Hi,

The other day I planned to aim for 1:00. I did that. We will leave at 2:20.

I used the list I made a few days ago -- took somethings off and added some others as I went along.

I cut my pointer finger and I have misplaced my favorite watch.
I have a bandaid and an ugly back up watch.

Thank you.

Be well.

Sorry your purse is over full for having lost the word.

Ugh, its a problem this week.

But I am glad you did that.

It really bothered me.
