Trig Freaking out about VA Tech

Hello,
I am freaking out about the VA Tech shootings.
Yesterday I saw some news on the Internet and watched very little TV -- 1 hour of Nightline. Today the same thing. I saw the news for about 30 mintues ( no cable tv running all day). This was enough news to get to me I realize.

Someone tell me to stay off the Internet and turn off the tv completely for a few days.
I'm starting to get into a funk and I need to stop it.

I teach at a college.

Does anyone think it strange that I am wondering about that young man's family and whether or not they are getting support?

M.
