Hi,
My tdoc and I had a phone session today-- last time we talked was in late July / early August. I gave her updates about hubby and work and such. She thinks I am handling things well. She always points out in what ways I seem to be making things work for me. Then she makes some suggestions about how to do more of what is helping me. I think that the 300 mgs of Gabapentin made her think I am O.K. I might have been on a much lower dose when I saw her last. M |

Hi,
We are having 35 mph wind gusts. The ground is soaked. It has been raining since Wednesday. I took the day off today because I do not feel like dealing with the wind and rain. Also, I need a break from my boss. M |

Good idea. I am on vacation, but making calls to my parents that call. Because I couldn't change my phone message. But that is fine. I've added two or three new cc's to my schedule. Heehee, and added 4 or 5 new clients while on vacation. Wow, what a way to be on vacation. Donna

We have better weather now. The full moon is beautiful through the clouds. Tonight is cool -- have to wear long sleeves to work Monday.

 Mari )))))I wish you a much better tomorrow. Way too much stress in your life lately between presentations and travel and hurricanes and bad days at work. I hope this little daisy can bring you a smile for a moment or two.  I would like to share that I saw the moon last night too, from when it rose near the horizon all fat and yellow and beautiful to when it got high up in the sky, smaller but bright with its silvery light. I was sad when we had to shut the blinds due to the cold, but I was glad to have caught the full show this time at least. Anyway, I will be keeping you in my thoughts and sending good energy. Thank you, People, I made it to school on time, drank lemon balm tea during the day, and took extra klonopin. I practiced smiling a lot in case it would spread to the people I had to deal with. I needed to score some points with my boss after a bad meeting on Tuesday so on Wednesday I asked her if she could come to one of my classes and do something breath work with my students (she has been doing yoga forever and sometimes teaches classes here and there). She "thanked" me for "inviting" her. She spent a half an hour teaching them three breaths, asked them to briefly write about how they feel their power, spoke a little about yoga, and took a question or two. Then I let the class go a few minutes early and texted her a "thank you." I feel better now about the relationship she and I have. She clearly was happy that I asked her to share her yoga gift. M |
