Derrick has a interview tomorrow. I really had a feeling yesterday it was
going to be for tomorrow!1!. He is excited, for that fact so am I.

Its really interesting.


He says the girl that has trained him said they added a couple of things
to the application after he turned his in.

But mainly just one thing.


Did you graduate from High School? Or do you Plan to?

This being because they had a influx of many, (around 11 applications from
high school volunteers) right after his!!!

He is their first interview from the applications. I think he was also
the first turn in.

But also they told him that because these kids all want only part-time
most of them can be hired if they see fit.

I think that speaks volumes for this Humane Society.

He also told me, that One of the other kids, is one of the kids that
volunteers with the dogs.

So they definately have one that volunteers with cats and kittens and
one with dogs and puppies.

So they are taken care of both ways to start.

Heehee, So we are a excited house hold tonight.

I was at the school at 3:00 after the case conference we had for him.

I already knew the answer. But I asked him anyway. He Got the JOB!!!

He starts next week.

They had filled out a form for the Job Coach. For the meeting. He couldn't
come, but had sent a review of his work.
And had stated he wished. He had 10 more like him.

So did the TOR. Well we all could use at least 10 more of him. HEhee

Anyway, they had marked all 5's on the sheet. For perfect pretty much.

and as to if they would Hire. Yes.

And then wrote in. They were interviewing (11-15-12) and planning to HIRE!!!


He starts on Tuesday. Because they have to talk to me. About rep payee things. And somemore things. But I'm so excited for him.

Its exactly what he wants to do.

Congratulations on the good news!

I'm wondering how Derrick is doing today. He was sick yesterday.
But today he was feeling lots better thankfully.

Its his first day at his job. And he is the youngest employee, I'm
anxious to know how he feels.

But I have a workshop scheduled tonight. And can't change it of course.
So I'll have to wait to hear about his day.


Its been a rollercoaster of a few weeks. Its slowlng down I hope. Then
of course I picked up some new cases. Heehee

He has been baking tonight, after dishwasher was doing the dishes.
He loads them for me. He did three loads to get my glass pans done
for tomorrow. He made pumpkin bread and brownies.

He is going to help me make the green bean casserole, corn casserole,
and the sweet potatoes tomorrow. He said, can I help I want
to learn.
