Hello, they say when things are going good. Sometimes its just too good.
That must be what happened in my life today. About 9:15 am I received a phone call from Derrick about him having a Seizure. I picked him up at 10:00 am, it took me a while to get to him. Well I did as you know. I was headed home, and at the gas station we had stopped for a pop. I didn't get it when he was telling me not only was the left side numb, which is not unusual. But so was the right side going by the time we got home. And his back. Then came the part I've never heard before. Mom, how long will this hurt. I asked what he meant. He told me it was hurting everywhere. So we headed start to the hospital and spent about 3 hours and 1/2 there. His dilanitin was sub zero low. I am not sure but that doesn't sound good to me. He got IV dilantin and pills both. Now I'm a little upset they didn't write the amounts down for me. I expected it to be on the paperwork. I had to go get something to eat, my diabetes was acting up. I'm so sorry to hear about this episode, Donna. Poor Derrick!
 I wonder how his levels got so low.How is he doing now? I will be in the air all of tomorrow so might not reply, but will get back online possibly over the weekend. Meanwhile, I send him well wishes. And you, of course. waves |

oh donna, how scarey.
wonder why his lab was so low? I am glad that you got him safely there and that they were able to help him hopefully in quick order. ((((HUGS)))) bizi

That is the question. I've never heard it be so low. I will be calling
the neurologist tomorrow. I hope he gets the results fast. donna |

We are doing okay here. Derrick is feeling somewhat better.
Hubby is out working the extra job today. And me well I have a mess of a cough. I've been doing my asthma treatments. So hopefully soon. Donna
