Mdoc gave me Lyrica for nerve pain. She said I could take it instead of Gabapentin --- not to take them both at the same time.
I don't have a script. She gave me a "coupon" that I have to fill out that allows me to get Lyrica for cheap for one year. Gabapentin is at too a low a dose to help with nerve pain. It IS helping with anxiety and depression. I do not know if Lyrica helps with depression. M |

One of the things that helped in our family, just not covered script, no approval.
Feel better,  Di Ps helped the sever nerve pain, come down levels.

I do not expect my insurance to pay either but mdoc says to try to get the coupon filled (it is a whole hassle). ''Sorry to hear that family members suffer. M |

Dear Bizi and Butterfly,
Thank you. I do not know what is going on. I did sort of agree to see the mdoc more often --- I go a long time between visits. She wants to help me so that is good. M |

Not to discourage you from trying the lyrica if you can get the prescription for lower price. But I couldn't take it I had problems trying to switch from Gabapentin to it. And had to go back. It wasn't anything really big, mainly dizziness, and lightheadness, and just not feeling like me. Some other things but hard to explain. Donna

That is helpful. Right now I am trying to raise the Gabapentin to 600 mgs before I switch to Lyrica. M |
