Plumbing and feeling a little grouchy
 

Hi,

At 5:00 p.m. a plumber came out to investigate whether the pipe connecting our place to the city water was leaking. It was.

By 12:30 a.m. the leak was fixed and new copper pipes were installed.

I took my meds, hubby and I walked my father to the car so he could go back to his hotel, and I fell asleep on the couch with the t.v.
Hubby told me after I woke up that the plumber came into our house to turn on each faucet to see that the running was running clear.

I am a little bit grouchy about the whole event.

Haha, i can appreciate that. I like your new siggy, especially the beautiful pic of the full moon over snowy mountains. It is both calming and inspiring.

Mari I had a situation where I had leaking pipes somewhere on the property. My brother in laws office manager asked if I did anything different with the water in my apartment. I said no. The water department charged over 300 dollars for one month.

To make the story short,they wanted that bill to be paid before they fixed it. It was paid. They brought out people to dig. I said watch out in that area,I have a Sat. TV cable right there. One of the guys turned around,and said that they know it. Then they struck the cable,and I was without Sat.service. I was so angry that I walked out on the porch,and said I told you about that. I was furious. They said that they can get someone to fix it that afternoon. Well it was not till the following afternoon. I didn't have TV till more then 24 hours later. They brought a machine to plow the ground to put a new pipe in. They said that I need to move my car. It sounded like a command. Why didn't they just ask me to move my car please. grrrrrrrrr:mad: at the whole thing. Then they charged the office over a thousand dollars. grrrrrrrrr:mad:

When they left I turned all of my water faucets on,and flushed the toilet until I had clear water. The land was plowed where I have to park my car because of the trees loosing branches,and acorn problems going down in my cars vent system. I think that I have that part fixed,but I don't want to take chances. Now I have reddish brown soil splashing on my car after a storm. The soil gets on my tires also,and I hate that. I like a clean looking car.

about the mud - that sounds really annoying! I like a clean vehicle, too. Hope you're not stepping in the red soil and getting it on your floor mats. :Heart:

This was about five months ago. I think that I may have vented about it on the Bipolar Disorder forum at that time. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Thank you Butterfly. I try to walk where it's dry when I get out of my car. I have a mat in front of the door.

There's a service station about a mile from here where I can power hose clean my car,and tires for four quarters.

When I walk in,I take my shoes off,and put this old Ionic Breeze shoe ionizer in both shoes,and let them do their thing. If there's any dirt in front of the floor from the yard,I clean it up. I have other Ionic Breezes that I have used for years. I've cleaned them thousands of times it seems. I was using air purifiers with Hepa Filters,but those filters,and pre charcoal filters are so expensive. So I turned two of them off.

I have a thing about clean floors. Then I can walk around in my socks,and not worry about getting my sofa dirty. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I think so eventually. I was surprised that they didn't throw some grass seed where they where. They broke my Sat.cable,and destroyed areas where grass was growing. My TV was also damaged. Greens turned to blues,and I had oranges,and reds. They said that they couldn't have done this. They said it would have to be a coincidence. I think that the short circuit happened in the color adjustments of the TV set. It may have been headed that way,but what they did brought the end of the HDTV set. I couldn't prove what they did could have harmed my TV set. Maybe the TV set was headed that way,but greens turned to blues after they hit the Sat.cord. I could tell the next day when the Sat.company fixed the cord.:confused:

I have a new set that my sister,and brother in law gave me. That was sweet of them. If I see any diggers in the yard,I'm going to unplug the Sat.cable from the wall,and turn the Sat. cable box off. I'll probably already have the TV set turned off if I see a shovel. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Broke down in mdoc's office today about stress test 2 yrs ago
 

Hi,

I saw my internist today.
We talked about my ER visit for chest pains.

She wants another stress test so she will be able to talk to me better about chest pains.
I started crying.

I told her about my huge anxiety attack the last time I had to have a stress test and how horrible the staff were and how much I had to wait and how having to go without my meds for 12 hours before the test caused the anxiety.

She said we could do other heart tests instead and that in some ways they would be better
~ catheter --- (seems rather invasive so I told her "no")
~ cardiac CT --- insurance will not pay for it (I told her I would consider the test after I checked with the lab about the cost)


She noticed that my mood was lower than it was December 11 when I last saw her. DUH. Crying.
I told her to write down all the things I am supposed to do because I was not able to take notes.
Plus she talks too fast.
Everything stinks right now. I can barely concentrate.

*If* you have to do another stress test, I hope the staff is more cooperative this time. I hope they get all this figured out soon. Dealing with doctors stinks big time. I'm sorry you're having to deal with all this. :Heart:
