I love Fridays. Those days are long work days. Then I come home ready to relax.

Dd will be catching up on her school work. I plan to sleep in one day. Finally March is here, yea, now if Mother Nature would wake up.

I remember we used to do weekend check-in threads! As far as plans, just the usual, Sunday Lunch with Mother and my son, and a light shopping excursion. Hoping to get to play in my stamping plates and redo my nails as I am having some chipping with the current manicure. I think it will shape up to be a great weekend!

Really excited.

I am going to set up for a FREEDOM even it the name.
Its a event for special needs families of all ages.
there is a band. And some other fun things going on.

We have vendors set up from all kinds of agencies. And
they sometimes come to talk to parents but lots of times
its just the material. Its lots of fun.

One of my PSV's is supposed to be going with me. Hopefully
that happens. We will see.
She is being harassed still by the parent. It got bad on facebook
yesterday. Had to be turned in to facebook.

But Derrick and his staff will be coming too. I'm so excited.

Then on Sunday, Derrick and a different staff member are going
to the annual Parent(adult) vs players game for Foundation.
I usual sit and watch but this year I'm staying home. Or at least
that is the plan.

I'm working to get ready for Monday.

yeah, that's basically it.

i'm not sure that the expression "try to chill" isn't an oxymoron though. trying implies exertion of effort. how can one chill if one is exerting effort?

DD & I will be doing school tomorrow morning because we missed a day this week. DH wants to mow the grass because we have a lot of clover growing. I think it makes our yard look meadow-y and I like it but he doesn't. I wish I had more exciting plans but that's it. Oh - I bought an "Arms of Steel" DVD on amazon. I am hoping to try it out this weekend. My arms need some muscle toning. Sleeveless season will be here probably around Easter time.

Florida if we get snow here where I am it will be a first. I got use to the warm weather. I will be drinking hot soup and trying to stay warm!!!! This is weird down here....ginnie

The weather is odd. Saturday night / Sunday morning will be cold --- if I understand the tv correctly.

I am going to try to sleep in this morning.
a jazz band concert sat night then a folksy singer on sunday afternoon. Think I will start my taxes saturday since my charting is caught up.

I might go to the local beauty school aveda and see if I can get a pedicure or a facial something pampering.

The weathermen are frustrated, as the update keep right on changing. It will be cold tomorrow and now monday too, with a slow warm up. Today it is cool in the 50's with a very strong north to south wind, making it feel in the upper 30's. My plants are covered. I will leave them that way too for a few more days. The planters are in the garage. I will open that this afternoon just to get some light in there. Take care Mari. ginnie
