Arrow Foods You Don't Have to Buy Organic

Hi,

When I am food shopping, I am aware that certain fruits and veggies are best bought organic because of pesticides used to grow them.
Before shopping today, I looked up which foods were safe to buy non-organic.

These are the Clean 15 -- a list of foods that you do not have to buy organic:
http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/ART02984...y-Organic.html

Quote:
Of the fruit and vegetable categories tested, the following "Clean 15" foods had the lowest pesticide load, and consequently are the safest conventionally grown crops to consume from the standpoint of pesticide contamination:
Quote:
1 Onions
2 Sweet corn
3 Pineapples
4 Avocado
5 Cabbage
6 Sweet peas
7 Asparagus
8 Mangoes
9 Eggplant
10 Kiwi
11 Cantaloupe (domestic)
12 Sweet potatoes
13 Grapefruit
14 Papayas
15 Mushrooms
I bought whatever I could remember from the list that looked fresh:
one large onion, avocados, one cabbage, mangos, eggplant, kiwis, and sweet potatoes. Hubby will like the kiwis because they are something different.
