Crazy Still no word yet...

And it's getting to the wire. We gave notice today so that we will be able to move in there in a few weeks given that they accept our application. I can hardly stand all this waiting...We gave in and gave notice to the current landlord without knowing their decision, they better NOT reject our application, I will be so disappointed...Hopefully it will all work out. Wish us luck on our continued wait...

Ooo Crossing fingers

Pamster I am crossing fingers and toes, even my eyes for you. Adding a prayer too.
I hope that you hear soon and the anxiety of waiting is over.
Hugs

Unhappy

Dear Pamster,
this is so frustrating...why the drag in the yes no answer...it is so unfair...and controlling.
you are doing well waiting...I am not a good at that...get very impatient.
it is like they are holding you hostage.

Pamster - The waiting is always the worst. I have no patience with that.

I would be calling and checking on it, can't hurt, plus it makes you look very concerned and show's you really want this place.

That's me anyway.

Good luck, I am saying prayers for you!!!!!

No news is good news.......as they say.

I appreciate the encouragement everyone, all I think we can really do is wait, I am about to call her office, it doesn't open until 2pm. I am calling to let her know we can move in at the end of May which I hope will help them say yes because it shows I am going on good faith. It is driving me up the wall all this waiting though. I just had to post about it!

Just as long as the end results in us living in this new place I don't mind waiting a few more days, just as long as the ultimate goal is reached you know? I am so scared something might fall through since they have yet to get our application approved or rejected. I sure hope we hear today but I won't be counting on it, I bet it will be tomorrow before I hear the answer.

Go for it and CALL..........you really have to know, since you already gave your notice where you live now, so tell them that.

Two weeks go by fast.......Well it's 2:30pm my time, not sure where you are and what time it is. Let us know.

P.S. Are you dealing with just one person in the office or talking to different people? Go to the source that you started the process with.

Lots of Luck, Hope, and prayers, Nikko

Yes I would call too. I am also waiting for an apartment and its murder on the nerves. Luckily its not that bad just a pain in the *****. We are living in a very small apartment and I am surprised Todd and I haven't killed each other in the past 2 and 1/2 years. Our landlord has a 2 bedroom and much larger apartment that needs to be worked on and cleaned because two cats are residents right now. Todd is majorly allergic to cats so we have to wait until the kitties move then the true wait begins. Their work staff is sooooo sloooooow so who knows when we will get in there. I hope by fall. That would be nice.
So I know what it is like to wait......good luck! Let us know.

Thanks Wendy, and thank you too Nikko, I think I will hear something either today and next week at the latest, it's so hard to just be patient, but hopefully it's all going to be worth it. It shouldn't be this hard to get into an apartment. This is the most strignet application process we've ever been through. It will all be worth it but goodness the anxiety about possible rejection doesn't make my stomach tighten in knots and my abdomen flutter with fear.

It will be worth it once we're in there, but getting there will be very hard. We don't have a truck and I think we're going to move in a few days early, so we only have a couple of weeks before said move. I have so much to do it's not even funny. I hope things work out good for us and that we get accepted at the new place soon, so I can go get keys and start moving tubs of stuff over to it.

We've got about twenty tubs so far and four or five more to go, so other then that and clothes, I figure I will be taking clothes over in garbage bags, folded and ready to be placed in the dressers. I just hope we're going to get that yes answer, whenever we get word, that the word is YES. That's the big fear right now.

Keeping my fingers crossed......

Moving is stressful in itself, so hang in there.

It would be nice if you got the word today, then you could have a happy happy weekend!!!!
