that must have been some storm!
wonder if any trees were knocked down?
glad you were safe home and not on the highway.

It was pretty intense.
They are calling it a "short lived" storm.
It did not last long.
One county away form me got lots more rain and some trees and power lines knocked down.

Oh wow, I gotta go! I have been avoiding because of our work schedule. Need to call step daughter tonight and see what's up.

We had more freezing pipes, really upset at the heat tape failure on new home. The alarm isn't even going off. We replaced the module, but it failed.

On the up side this weekend will be warmer and Monday too. The ice pack on the driveway is So deep and really hard to walk on, solid ice. The cold is killing my RSD.

At least March is here, we have to see an end in sight.

We had some nutty weather today and I was thinking about you.

We were under a storm warning so I knew not to go outside.

I did anyway because I wanted to see what was going on.
The wind was so strong that I could not open my door!!

That was my signal to stay inside for the couple of hours that it took for the storm to pass.

Hey Mari. That sounds like a Supercell,or Mesocyclone. Was there allot of lightning,or wind, and rain? There is more information on Wikipedia.

Steve,

1 We were might have officially been under a tornado watch in my exactl area. Nearby was under a tornado warning. (it is hard to know because the areas are close and I could not see a map) --- I was hearing it on the tv in a waiting room when I went to do blood work for mdoc.

2 The sky was dark and I was on my way home -- the rain and wind had not started yet.

3 The storm was intense but did not last very long. Maybe it was over in two or three hours.
When it was all over the sky was clear.

Thanks Mari,

I have to say I have been enjoying this weather.

I am also just trying to relax when its down time.

I get up earlier thanks to feeling like I should be up when awake.
I think its the change in time, and seasons.

Yeah, I am busy but the parents are finding me.

Another destructive weather system is a microburst. We have had them around here. It's like they hit,and pulverize one area, and the other areas around it don't have that much of a problem. BF:hug::hug::hug:
