Hi, Bizi,
You are sweet. I did 18 minutes on the bike at the gym earlier. But it seemed to make my anxiety worse. Tonight I have am having chest pains -- I only get these about once a year. Tomorrow the meeting is far away/long communte at 9:30 am. Hubby just came in and asked me when I was going to bed. I dunno. I bought a chocolate cake after the gym and ate 3/4 of it within a very short period of time. That probably didn't help the anxiety. My sister says if I can't handle the meeting tomorrow I should just tell them I have to leave and then come home. I will do that. It's just that this is an important meeting and there are only 5 of us and so forth. Maybe I should have been upfront and asked to be excused... ![]() I need a rest. Believe it or not, I am doing my best to pace myself and think about being able to relax. ![]() Mari |

Hi,
Update with good news -- sort of. I was putting out our vits and supplements for tomorrow and realized that something in the vits and supplements could be causing the chest pain/anxiety today. I had sort of stopped taking them, only remembering to take them twice a week or so and had recently gone back to every day. I guess I can't handle this current mix for every day of the week. Last year, when I had the chest pains, it was caused by taking calcium supplements. The short version: I don't feel crazy right now. ![]() I can deal with trying to sleep and trying to get through the day tomorrow. Everything is ok. ![]() I will be more careful about the vits and supplements. Geez. Do I have to learn this lesson each year? Thanks for listening. ![]() ![]() ![]() M. |

Hi,
I appreciate hearing from you. I had 2-3 hours of sleep last night and made it to the meeting and performed well. I got home around 5:30 pm. What's wrong with me that I have not gone to bed yet? I'm tired but have been busying myself with email and stuff that is not important. And my chest hurts. I wonder if it is muscular. I wonder if I strained it from carrying my school book bag out of the car Sunday night? At least the anxiety is mostly gone. One time when I had this kind of chest thing going on I went to the ER. They admitted me for 24 hours for cardiac check even though the ER doc was pretty sure that the pain I was feeling was "muscular." The body speaks in many ways. I can't keep up with its languages. M. |
