Hi,

I took hubby to a new restaurant that is nearby and that he enjoyed enough that he wants to show it to his friend as a new find.
The food was better than one of his usual places, the price was about the same, and he was impressed by the cleanliness.
I appreciated that it was quiet in the mid afternoon.

I understand about the black pants. It is nice to have a go-to pair of black pants. I also like black jeans.
I do not know if that is what you were talking about.
I do not currently have a pair of black jeans but maybe they will be on my someday list.

Thumbs up New Restaurant

The new restaurant sounds great Mari! I like a peaceful atmosphere in a restaurant, and it is hard to come by.

re: black pants... I need a pair for casual use, but that look nice enough. Black jeans with black stitching (not white or yellow) would be great but regular cotton would work - whatever I find. I am not an easy fit.

Ginnie,

That is great about being able to see fireworks from where you are -- we only could hear them.

More rain on both sides of the state tomorrow I believe.

I've been very depressed today. I was invited to a fourth of July event, but I didn't want to go anywhere. I don't feel like doing anything, and just want to sleep. My best friend ended his life about 3 months ago. I'm tired of my hobbies, and movies are boring. I guess I'm very depressed, and wish that the Forth of July is over. I don't know what to do,and I'm tired of these constant problems. BF

Heart sending you comforting thoughts

Hi Steve,

I am so sorry to hear how hard this holiday was for you, but I do understand what you are saying. It is ok not to celebrate when you don't feel "celebrational", you know.

I'm sending you lots of hugs and warm thoughts. I hope you are able to find comfort somehow. Please try to let us know if we can help in any way.

love

They worked us extra hard in the Supermarket business on holidays like this. They didn't care about our needs, nor reward us. That Supermarket chain is out of business now. I worked at this Supermarket very hard for almost 14 years. I have these mixed feelings about holidays, and I took this one pretty ruff. The pay was extra low. The treatment was awful. I don't know if I will ever get over it because it came from many different people.

Thank you Waves for the encouragement. I'm feeling better that I talked about it. BF

Don't work for anyone over a long period of time who puts you through head trips, false guilt, and people who talk about you behind your back.

I was working very hard at home doing laundry, floors, and etc.,and etc. at home, and I felt a strange guilt feeling. That feeling was what they put me through when I was doing everything that I could do,and then some. It's a long story.

Don't let anyone take advantage of you over a long period of time. Adult bullying is just as bad as the teenage type.

I haven't gotten over it. I guess that I'm going through a valley experience. BF

Yes, that is good advice, and also true that bullying is perfectly horrid at any age.

It sounds like you have a PTSD-like thing, from that supermarket experience. I sure wish you could have been spared that whole experience.

It was a bad trauma, and chronically inflicted. Like a repetitive stress injury, but a psychological one. Some time ago, you had talked about a trauma counselor? I don't remember what happened with that... is that still an option for you?

I haven't talked to anyone about the Trauma Counciling possibility in awhile.

I believe it is a PTSD type of thing like you said,on top of everything else. It's very complicated. I'm having allergy attacks on top of my anxieties, and depressions. I did a little research on allergys attacks, and someone in a message said the allergy attacks are much worse with panic problems,or visa versa.

I've noticed that allot of people with Mental health issues have allergies also. Not everyone. This is something that I've noticed over many years. It could be a coincidence, but I don't think so.

I was up till sun rise with allergy attacks several nights ago. After researching the subject on the type of allergy symptoms that I was having,I came across that website where they where talking about panic, and strong allergy attacks.

Years ago when my panic/anxiety/ and depression got worse when I was around 21,or 22,so did my allergy attacks. I started having major allergy attacks at that time. BF
