Mari,
I don't know what to expect day to day. Today I am super anxious because I have to go into D.C. To the Vet Hospital. I want to throw up just thinking about it. I have a ride, thank god. I meet my VA doc and I no longer have a primary care doc on base. Scary, change.

The will. Well the lawyer made me wait 45 min. Holy God, I can't handle waiting. When he finally called me I cried in his office. It was super easy. I filled it a form prior to and no husband, no kids, made it really easy. I was I. There for 20 min. They are going to draft it up and I will go in and sign it.

I bought a fire box a while ago for all of my important docs, banking, adoption, divorce decree etc...then I found an article on how to plan for your death so family doesn't have to figure it out. My accounts, debts, special money set aside for my nieces etc...I made files, put them in ziplock bags and loaded em up in the fire safe.

I think I am going to try not to put too much into my mood and just roll with it. I have been in mayhem w events, I am just going to let things simmer down and take care of myself the best I can.

I do anticipate depression, and anxious depression. Shoot, my ears are already ringing this morning.

I get a ringing in my ears also. It comes, and goes in my left ear. It goes from a soft pitch,to a noise,to a loud ringing. I've only had this for about four years. Sometimes it drives me up the wall. I'm trying something called Lipo-Flavonoid from Walmart. I think that it helps somewhat. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Ringing in ears (tinnitus)

BF,
Good morning,
Thanks. I use my tinnitus as a measure for how I am doing at the time they start ringing. Usually it is an indicator that I need to slow my roll and chill a bit. It is a pain but I am grateful for the signal. I have been doing too much and under a load of stress so naturally the ringing is worse and migraines are up too. I feel spread so thin. I am taking a yoga instructor course which is amazing and sending me on a spiritual journey. I have to remember poses and tell a student what to do, when to inhale, exhale and do it myself. It is really hard for me post TBI/PTSD and diagnosis. I am reminded that I am 100% disabled but am quickly reminded. I am not sad, just adapting.

Mixin it up

Do you have a favorite for your mornings or do you make variations?

M[/QUOTE]

Good morning Mari! My foundation is usually the same. I always put coconut water, 1-2 TBS flax seed, chia seeds, soy protein powder. I generally throw in a fresh banana, apple, peach, maybe some frozen fruit. I always throw in a ton of kale or spinach and maybe a carrot. Sometimes I throw in Kefir, ginger or depending on the other ingredients, lime.. I loathe wasting food so part of the reason I bought the vitamix is so I can use all the food I buy and do far it is providing nutritious food and I am wasting less. As I notice things starting to wilt...they go in the vitamix section. I have even done tomatoes...hehhehehehe!

It pulverized the heck out of everything. I drink them w a Starbucks straw.

Mari 09-15-2013 01:42 PM

A straw is good. That probably makes things easier when I am in a hurry in the a.m.
I have not been to Starbucks so I do not know what straws they have but I have seen the big fat straws on Amazon that come with Boba Teas (Bubble Tea) in some Asian restaurants.

I read it is goood to "chew" the smoothies a little because the digestion process starts in the mouth . . .. . good for digestion and all that.
. . .. I am rushing through my typing because I am preparing for a call and need to be ready.

Your presence on the board helps me to think about being healthy and practical. Thank you.

Mari

Dosage

Good morning!
My doc increased my dosage to 80 MGS and an Ativan if I can't sleep. I think the Latuda makes me feel better and want to do more and as I do, it is too much. Being in yoga school or anywhere for 8 hours a day is too much for me. I will find a work around.

Have a great day today.

glad that the doc will be allowing you take the ativan to sleep. I take klonipin to sleep just 1mg does the trick.
WE NEED TO SLEEP!
