Default Something to make you chuckle!

Before my grandson and my ex dil came up henhouse on Wednesday I wanted to finish cleaning the bathroom. I didn't have toilet bowl cleaner so I ran out for a liquid cleaner. In my carry all I had sprays, next to it on th floor was a gallon of Mean Green, behind that on the lower shel of the free standing unit in the kitchen I spied the quart of PineSol.

I took it in the bathroom, first realizing they put a flip top to squirt, wow thats new. I began squirting the rim, but it was so heavy it was like a heavy gel, ummm don't remember that ever happening, but maybe the temperature affected it.

Giving a harder squeeze I got around the seat, the rim, tank, then onto filling the sink with hot water to wash things down. Gee, it's not tuning white cloudy water and where is he "Fresh Clean Scent of PineSol?"

I squirted more on the counter top and around the faucets and then rinsed off the gunk around the bottle lid. But it's not dissolving in the sink????
So by now I have to look at the label...Honey, what, who n he world has a quart of honey?
Well I guess I do and now I have about a cup if honey all over the bathroom!

On top of cleaning the bathroom now I have the stickey goo all over! I used wet paper towels, microfiber cleaning towels, Lysol throw away whipes, and elbow grease to tackle the sticky mess.

My daughter was in hysterics laughing, my dh gave my he nick name Honey Boo Boo...
When Mamma cat went in to get a drink from the faucet her black fur was sticking to the counter top for three srubbings.

Ugh, I feel like my Mother when her eyes started to give out.

Di,

That IS funny! I can see how that could happen ---
-- esp with the picture you supplied that shows how the honey bottle could look like the PineSol bottle
Maybe it was not so funny at the time when you had to re-clean the room three times.

I hope you had a good time with your grandson and his mother.

Oh Bizi that is funny, guess he doesn't remember grade school volcano's. glad he didn't pour in the toilet. There is a mixture for that, but not a closed container. I think it was for grout and used a scrub brush.

I read a lot of things using Dawn....there is an insecticide, de-icer, weed killer too. Only thing, is don't let a man near a dishwasher with it!

Mari, my grandson lives next door with my son, but my ex dil spends time with my daughter so Connor loves coming up with her too. We keep mom involved, she is diagx too and on disability, I make sure not having family on this side of the country she is okay and included.

She helps me a lot with cleaning and being a sister to my daughter.

Dear Di,

That is sweet. You help work it out so that your grandson can be with his father and mother and so that your DIL can have extended family.
And your loved ones want to be near you.
You are a great mother.

Talking Oh, oh, ohhh!!!!

Dear Di

Your story was absolutely hysterical!

Beautiful delivery too, I must add. You just about killed me with the concept of a novelty squeeze-top on the Pine-Sol. ROFL!

I am sorry you had such and ooky mess to clean up but... oh, what a laugh.

Thanks all,
The family loves that we had a good laugh, I hardly laugh. We stopped in the grocery store Sunday and dd was walking through the cleaners and pulled out the PineSol saying look Mom, it does have a flip top! Aren't you glad you didn't put this in the tea instead?

kids!

I can totally understand the not enjoying the laugh.

I am not one that would have enjoyed it either.

My husband would have kept it up too.
