Donna
thank you so very much. I guess i brought it on myself by trying to save money.
I didn't sleep last night. I just felt so relieved that i couldn't get comfortable.
I also broke an expensive chinese umbrella stand which I have had for years -i was careless. my mind kept on flitting between that and not having to worry about getting used to lower full dentures. I also think this process is going to be fast. I am having more impressions taken on friday. the guy is so optimistic and said they will come out beautiful. I don't know when he will extract the teeth.
then after i get them down the road i will have to get them relined. it is so neat that i can walk to his office. his office help is young and seem very nice.
except now, most people seem young to me. I am losing the ability to judge age. I think this doctor is in his forties because he has gray in his hair but he comes off as much younger.
I am realizing now how much energy was drained from me being terrorized about the denture thingie. He told me that lower full dentures were so awful and almost impossible to get used to. I think i had a right to be so frightened.

Hi Bobby,

I am sorry about the umbrella stand. I have actually been agitated from extreme feelings of relief before, so I can understand that. Hopefully tonight you will be calmer and sleep better.

I am so glad you found this guy, Bobby. I did not like the fact that after 2 dentists "argued" your case at Bellevue, they opted for the more invasive solution. If some of your teeth are still viable, they should stay in your mouth! Thank goodness you found this new dentist. I am really happy for you.

love

I forgot if i mentioned that my dentists said young dentists are quick to pull out all the teeth and don't think of the horrors of having full plates. I take this all as a sort of miracle if you know what i mean. If i hadn't decided to go to this dentist's office for the cleaning, all my teeth would have been removed and i would be without teeth for at least five weeks.
strange how things work out. I am still saying what Steve quoted and it is helping me immensely.
i am so revved up....i thought i would sleep like a baby....ha

Heart terrified state

Hey, glad things are working out for you. I can def relate. One issue I went thru last year was extensive oral surgery and everything else associated w it. But that's a story for another day. So glad you found a good practitioner. The very best!
