Trig Can you feel......

anxious, angry, upset, tired, sad and afraid at the same time?
I feel like a teather ball being hit all over the place today. Between the heat, which triggers my BP and having a Radio Freqency Ablation (burned the nerves at the L3-L5 areas so my sciatica isn't so bad.) This is the second time I had it done and for the second time it has gone all bibbldy with my brain. I do have an appointment with my pnurse at 3 but the wait is driving me crazy!!!!
Does this happen to any of you?? What do you do when this happens? Right now I want to hide in my bed and sleep.

Yes - yes - yes it happens and it's awful.

Klonapin works well for me for what you mentioned, except the tiredness, I can't figure that one out. Except it usually comes with depression for me.

Good Luck at your appt. today.

Hugs, Nikko

Hey, ((((((Wendy))))),

Maybe your first instinct -- to hide in bed and sleep is not such a bad idea.

I told you the steroids in the ESIs set me off terribly.

I had the RFL done on my lumbar (5 levels, both sides) a couple of years ago. I didn't even get the relief from the anesthetic. I think they missed totally or maybe that wasn't the solution to my problem. I DO KNOW that I felt horrible for a few days afterwards.

Maybe if you just take it easy for a few days. Get more naps in. Talk to your pnurse. Get some chocolates and a good mystery story (or better yet a nice bodice-ripper ).

I'll send Jean-Claude over to help with the housework while you're napping

BIG HUGS.

Nikko....he's all yours!
You know...a good bodice ripper sounds like a great idea....maybe will get one tomorrow.
My pnurse said that I could take an extra Depakote when I needed to when that happens again. So I took one when I got home.

Wendy,

I've been having those feelings too lately. The best thing I've found is rest, and every now and again get out.

Barb, I love the picture. It brightened up my otherwise sad day.

Hey Nikko you need to pass the maid around by the sounds of it!
Still feeling crappy today so taking the day off. I was going to do laundry but Todd said it wasn't a good idea after the way I am feeling. I am still not feeling right so rest is the way to go I guess.
So feel free to pass the maid!

Hey, ((((((Wendy)))))),

Glad you're taking the day off. I used to call those "mental health" days. For some reason when you 'should be' working and you 'not be' working, it does a whole heck of lot to brighten up your day

I was just going to delete Jean-Claude. Looks like I should hang onto him for awhile I HAD TO throw that out there (I'm such a purr-vert)

Hugs. Have a nice weekend.

I hope you feel better soon Wendy. I think a day off can do wonders for you you know? Maybe get some scented candles and take a luxurious bath with some sweet smelling oils or bath crystals and maybe paint your toenails and finger nails or something. Just enjoy the day.
