Unhappy Kinda anxious. hoping for sleep soon.

This apt seems noisy as all get out: trucks, chain saws, more trucks emptying dumpsters, kids, kids who set off burglar alarms, maintainance workers, construction workers, construction trucks and equipment within earshot of my bedroom, neighbors unkind enough to open and close their doors without being gentle and quiet, and did I say stupid drivers squealing out of the 7 - 11 near me, oh yeah and the noisy truck that delivers to the 7-11 every night at 3:00 am with noise impact and leaves making a huge scary noise at 3:50,
and neighbors in the afternoon upstairs working up some noisy project..

Do you think that a heavy curtain over the window in the bed room will help keep out some noise?

Pre-bipolar I lived uder a flight path of a major international airport and loved it. I thought it exciting to imagine the lives of people who were coming and going in the planes above me. What has happened to those people now? Did they/do they live the lives they expected? :worried:

Anxious. Went to mall for hair cut. Walked around looking for anything that would fit me and look presentable. After a few hours, found a pretty skirt for work.
Went to organic store for soap. Hubby sneaks in soaps with smells (I'm allergic) if I do not stay over stocked in the house.

Came home and napped 20 mins. Then went out for Boston Market chicken for hubby's dinner.

My feet hurt from walking in the mall in my sandals.

Hubby is still making trips to the old apt for stuff that did not get packed. (He was really unclear about the concept of paying movers to move boxes!!!!) Not my problem.

We hired a clearning lady to clean the old place -- another too long talk that I had to have with hubby. He wanted to save the movey and do the work himself -- work that he won't get to in time to turn in the keys. And this is part of the money that my mom sent for crying out loud.

Work again tomorrow.
I gave myself a pedicure. Not A+ , but I feet feel and look better.

Tell me that I will get used to the noises of the new place. I need to believe.
