I like that, go on strike, I think I could die in my chair and it could take them two days to figure it out..

Lol, since they finally get they have to do their own laundry and bedrooms, I keep their doors closed! It's a controlled chaos, not how I expect a room to look...but my own needs help. Every time I travel suit cases and clothes lay about a longggg time.

I need them, to clean their own dishes and cooking mess, empty dish washer, scoop litter, vacuum and sweep the kitchen floor, keep their bathroom clean and wiped....dh should do ours, then I have more time to tidy, sort, dump, and get my own things done.
I hung stickies in those areas with specific chore.....I don't think they got the memo, they thought they were MY reminders!

If I could physically drag out all these dang boxes I dump things in when cleaning from holidays past, I swear I would just put them in the dumpster. I have no idea what is in them anymore.

Bags of clothes and books never make it the thrift shop, I really should drag to the deck telling the family to throw in the dumpster.
When I do get a few days to dump, a week later it seems to grow back. I tend to grab more boxes from closets or storage to go through again, making more disorder....

Ah such is my life, some day I will end up on hoarders for lack of help.
I do have to take some blame for the de cluttering, no one but me knows what needs to toss or organize.

Thanks Mari, if I couldn't laugh, I'd be crying, lol.
They may not be perfect but they are certainly mine. Told dh when he said he was out of his paycheck money, he must think I m the ATM machine. He got paid a week ago and gives the household nada out of it!
So I think I will write ATM on a sheet of paper with out of order on it. Wonder if they will get that message?

Even if hey do not get the message at first, you are expressing yourself clearly and that is helpful for you (because you are giving yourself messages). You might start getting assertive in other ways.
The haircut will help (I love new haircuts). A new you. Let us know about the haircut. Will it be easy enough for you to keep up each day?
