I am going to the walk in clinic this morning for a sore throat that I have had for over a week, seems to be getting worse. Hope it is not strep.
please send healing thoughts. thank you bizi

Hey Bizi. I never had my tonsils removed,and I had a really bad case of tonsillitis about 12 years ago. I went to my doctor,and he sent me to a specialist,and the specialist sent me to the emergency room.
The ER gave me an iv of steroids. The tonsillitis went away,and I was back to myself that afternoon. What a relief. I suffered all that weekend with this really painful sore throat,and it went away after being treated in the ER. BF

they ruled out strep thank goodness. did put me on an antibiotic amoxicillon so I am taking that. gave me a pain killer which helps. and an eye drop rx because I have an ickey eye.
I am feeling the same, have been taking heavy duty over the counter stuff. stopped taking the mucinex because it is not in my chest I was taking it as a cough prevention. I am not coughing now which is good. blah blah blah thank you for your kind words of support. bizi

Glad you've gotten the antibiotics, bizi.
Hopefully you'll feel better soon. So sorry for your pain and discomfort. We know you'll drink lots of tea!
