Smile Journeys

Hi,

I started a new thread.
The other one was long.
Thursday was the second time I met with my psychiatrist and it went well: I told her I was fine and she wrote the same 'scripts for me.

When I was getting ready to go, she asked me if I was depressed because I did not look right.
I told her what she was seeing was that I had awakened less than 90 minutes before.
. . . so she told me how important it was to sleep at night and that we are diurnal and that the wiring in the brain changes and that I should work on that.
I agreed and told her I would and then got the heck out of there.

I call that a good session.

Hi, Bizi,

I felt that it went o.k.
You are right that eventually I will have to have that conversation with her.
She also wants me to get a therapist.

Maybe I can tell her that the therapist and I are working on it -- but I am pretty sure I do not want to talk about sleep with the therapist.

The sleep issue is a path down the rabbit hole -- only chaos and confusion and depression can come of it.

I saw my tdoc on Thursday. She's gotten to know me,and our meetings are going well.

As far as sleep goes, seasons, and the sun, temperatures, what, and when we ate last, what has rattled our nerves in life, and bad news on TV,our ability to let burdens go,family harmony, being alone,or married, tension while asleep in issues like gritting our teeth in our sleep, dreams, nightmares, showers, memories of our sleep when we where children tied to bad experiences, and so many other variables.

I hope that everyone has a good rest tonight. BF

Steve,

That is great -- that your tdoc is helping you.

. . . yes . . . so many variables.

I go home from work at 11:00 pm.
I had some Chinese fried rice that I picked up on the way home and fell asleep siting at the computer.

We had lots of rain -- most of it during the night Thursday.

Bizi,

Late fall is not usually rainy.
The fall and winter weather has been weird the last two or three years -- winter rain.

Today is sunny. I think I should go for a walk.

Unhappy not so good --- probably need to go to bed but cannot

Hi,

I feel frightened.
Holidays are scary because they are off the routine. Also, other stuff. Maybe I have some general or specific anger --dunno.

It is cool outside. Maybe I could get dressed to drive to a touristy part of town or near a big highway where someone is serving breakfast.

Hubby is sleeping.

I am anxious and whatever else is going on.
