Yes. I love the smell of rain, and the feel of it if it is light enough to be able to stand in. When I lived in the warmer climates, I used to go for walks in the rain.
When I am indoors, I find its pitter patter soothing. Quote:
I also like cloudy days as long as it is not all the time. Then it gets dreary. But when the fall between sunny days, it feels like a relief to me. Sun all the time is almost like pressure. Rain or just clouds are a relief from that. There's also something else. If I'm down, I feel slightly better if it's overcast or raining. Then I feel as though the weather is on the same page as me. Mood-congruent weather, I call it. =================== I've often wished I could give you a bit of my love for rain. I know you hate it, and I probably like it enough for the both of us, and then some. I am sorry you are having this weather that makes you uncomfortable. waves |
