Oh dear! Working outside in this weather.

I will certainly keep Derrick in my thoughts for his orientation. Hopefully he can get information as to what sort of outdoor exposure he'll get, and you can work out the clothes from there. Never can have too many warm socks, that's for sure.

Do you guys get wool undershirts? The kind I like best are double face: wool lined with cotton on the inside; these are very warm but do not itch. They can really amp up whatever you wear over the top.

I wonder if Walmart provides some sort of thermal jumpsuits for the workers in winter. But in this cold, their usual stuff still might not be enough.

Aghh, methinks I'd need a spacesuit! How do breathe in that air?! Doesn't it freeze your breathing passages?

Anyway. Best wishes for Derrick. And I hope the outside part of his work will be a very small part.
