They don't do warnings here. Ever.
![]() Last night, the power companies went to an emergency rotation plan, in response to an over-consumption blackout in the nearby city. People are drew more power than our electrical plants put out. This is probably due to the heat ... cooling devices used more and working harder. You might not find that surprising. It didn't surprise me when I lived in the West Indies, where some islands didn't even have electricity. Not to mention violent storms were constantly tearing stuff down and sometimes blocking access routes for repair people. Here, I find it friggin outrageous, because: 1. The city in question is a European Industrial Capital. 2. This happens Every. Friggin. Summer. ![]() Hello????? ![]() Expand a plant? Build another one? Fix up one of the many abandoned/deserted ones? Sorry. Thank you for listening to my spew. |
