When I used to help Jack with his cleaning business we were up all night and our sleeping schedules were set to night owls. It was so difficult and then I got pregnant with Jackie and had to reset my clock to be able to make it to doctor appointments and such. It was really hard because I loved the nighttime. I used to stay up with Jack and loved it, but not I fall over with sleep by 11 pm if I try to stay up. Usually I am in bed by 9:30-10:00 pm.
I don't understand the psychological part of what prevents you from sleeping Mari, but I really do feel for you. It's early now and I am about to take Jackie to the bus stop, but I wanted to reply and share the above with you all. I really wish all our problems would just GO away, but life just doesn't work that way. *sigh* Hang in there Mari, I hope it gets easier for you soon. |

I wouldn't worry as long as you are getting adequate sleep. Maybe your enjoying the night is also a safety valve. If your medication is taking care of other symptoms, maybe you should be greatful for that....If you are walking around always tired or afraid you are going to go manic that is another story. You have so many psychological issues concerning your sleep issues you might need Jericho to blow down the walls. Maybe if you tried to prevent yourself from worrying about it, eventually you unconsciously will reach some compromise. My sleep issue began with my explosion, and then resumed with my father's death and then with a war.....vigilance... Bobby |

I am sorry you are going through this. No sleep is probably the most difficult thing to deal with.
It just makes everything else that much harder. |
