Heart hi everyone, been too long

Happy new year everyone. I've had a rough period. Still suffering with something in my right wrist. Not sure what is happening to it, but it hasn't been right since the heart cath done in late June. I have almost constant numbness and pain. STINKS...so I have an appt with a neurologist this coming week. As if that in itself wasn't enough to cope with, I have been suffering with really excruciating pain in the left arm, like near the elbow, I wasn't able to even remotely straighten it out either.

I finally broke down and went to the doc and got referred to an ortho doc who diagnosed it as tennis elbow. I figure it's happened because I've needed to compensate for the way the right hurts and haven't been able to do much without really bad numbness and pain in the right. Even holding a phone to my ear causes rapid onset of ringing pain in the hand and wrist. *sigh* Needless to say I hadn't sewn much, and fell into a depression.

Tried wellbutrin but it seemed to shorten my fuse so to speak and I am already a month off that med. Started Neurontin out of desperation for SOME kind of relief and it's helping with more than my pain in the nerves. It's improved my mood, which isn't surprising as it's a anti-convulsant. I also have begun physical therapy, next week is my 3rd week and I am feeling a great relief from the left arm, right is still bad, but it's a lot easier to deal with that now that the left has improved.

I hope you're all doing well. I'm ready for a better year. Last year was really hard on me and my family. I wanted to check in with my friends here, it's been way too long since I've posted. Wishing you all the best. And waves? I hope you're feeling better now. I know last year was hard on you too. And you too Broken Friend. I hope all my dear friends are well and stable as we start off this new year. Miss you all, bizi, Mari, mymorgy, and so many others. <3 you all.

(can't seem to change the mood on my account, not feeling sick anymore, feeling much better, I'll check in again soon.)
