Opera

I could not sleep last night -- so weird because that almost NEVER happens.

Anyway, we have opera tickets to see Bizet's The Pearl Fishers tonight.

The baritone and the tenor pledge to stay friends and not let anything get between them.

It sounds wonderful Mari.

I hope you enjoy the opera. I've never in my entire life been to the Opera but always wanted to do that. Usually the cost here is unrealistic.

I have been to the ballet so many times but maybe one day I'll get to see an Opera. The logistics involved for me would prove painful especially in a crowded theatre etc.. Long story.

I have seen full operas on tv of course and I just love the costumes and the theatrical aspects.

Please let us know how it was.

The Pearl Fishers

We were almost late because the cleaning lady wouldn't leave.
I told her a few days ago that we would pay her the same we usually do but that she had to leave at _______ time so that we could get to the opera.

----
I had three different CD collections of it so that I could listen to it for the past few weeks.
. . . .

The live version tonight was pretty close to the versions of the CDs.
It was great.
I enjoyed the sets and costumes too.

I am so glad that you enjoyed the opera,
how did hubby do?
bizi

Mari 03-17-2015 02:37 AM

Hubby unnecessary complicating how I handle my days and nights

Hubby's paranoia kicked in while I was at work so he changed both
our wifi name AND our password.
:hissyfit:
When I got home the computer had no access to the wifi and I had no idea what was going on.
He thinks this stuff is an ffing game . . . talks about it with laughter and smiles. :mfr_wha:
AND the name and PW he chose are long and complicated . . .
. . . .too complicated for me to remember so we put them on paper in our special drawer for this kind of stuff.

We each have multiple devices that require wifi.
All of mine I use heavily for work.

He is such a jerk.
I told him that next time he wants to randomly complicate my life and my anxiety, We Will Do The Password Together.
So far I have changed three devices and have two or three more to go.

There are not enough words for me to talk about this  :hissyfit: :boy(sad):
