Default I totally overeacted...............duh

I guess my BP does get the best of me sometimes. I really overreacted with the Dirk situation. I feel like a jerk now, but better. I need to get my trust issues in tact, we can thank my ex for that, and also my emotions.

He will be home a week from Friday. Everything is fine.

Waiting for a pizza to be delivered, easy Monday night dinner. LOL

Have lots to get done before he gets here a week from Friday.

Hugs, Nikko

I had a feeling it would work out with Dirk and that he wasn't trying to avoid you Nikko, it's so hard to trust again once you've been burnt so badly that you just are afraid of getting hurt again. I am glad it was just acase of him being happy to see his old friends and not him looking for some way to get out of your relationship. I am so glad it's working out for you, Dirk sounds like a really nice guy and you deserve a nice guy.

Keep us posted Nikko!

I think you were just protecting yourself.

You will learn to trust again. It just takes time and care.

And I really don't think it was all BP. PTSD makes one react this way. You felt threatened, right?

Hugs, cutie pie. And just take one thing at a time. You can do this.

You so deserve to be happy and safe.

I agree with everyone. If you get burned once, it stings forever. You were just protecting yourself.
Glad things are okay with you and Dirk.

Thank you everyone.

Hugs, Nikko

It's true, PTSD, BP, trust issues, I thought I had worked through all of that, but I guess not. I have an appointment with my DV counsler this Friday.

I hope it works out that he gets home on schedule and you get to enjoy that weekend out at that hotel Nikko, you need some time away even if it's only for a few hours, then coming back to take care of her, then heading back to Dirk and freedom. I know what a PITA PSTD is, I have it from the accident twenty years ago and I still have attacks of random panic that really are4 crippling. Glad today is a better day for you Nikko, keep us posted on how things are going.

Pain in the Butt only the other A word. It's used on the net as PITA which is not the same as the tasty bready pockets.
