Confused Anybody have info on Fibromyalgia (sp)

I just feel as though this Fibro could be part of my problem and I don't even know it.

I looked up the symptoms and causes and I fit into some of those categories.

Any info would be helpful, going to call my PCP tomorrow anyway.

Thanks, Nikko

Thumbs Up

Yea. It's PURE misery.

So I drink a lot more water, take some Potassium tablets and rest. Usually I feel much better the next day.

Bananas are great but MAY not be enough. Especially if your deficient. I eat bananas too but it's still not enough Potassium. It's up to you. Just telling you what I do that really helps.

Hi, I have Fibro. right now I'm in a paine cycle, I hurt so bad I can't think. I just moved so I have a new Dr. She won't give me any paine meds. without me first seeing a paine Dr.. My last Paine Dr. gave me morphine. Its all in my records. I didn't like the morphine, but I would like something. I'd like to slap this little........... Anyway I got sidetracked. I got myself some potassium tablets. I thought it was a good thing for Fibro. My old DR. ,out of the blue, did a blood panel. It said I had to much potassium. She said it could effect my heart, I was so embarrassed. I would ask your Dr. first.

FMer here as well. Malic acid is also a good mineral to have. It commonly is in apples and is its own supplement.
I am also going through a bad patch because of changing meds recently so it has kicked my FM into high gear. The best advice I can give you is to take your vitamins, rest and drink plently of water.
A good info website is www.immunesupport.com . Its the easiest one I can think of right now.

I drink lots of water daily. I am going to start taking vitamans too. I don't even know if I have fibro, but from what I looked up, and the causes and symptoms sure seems like it.
