Smile Spring Peepers.

It's foggy out there. I noticed that Spring Peepers are singing out there near a creek. Spring is around the corner.

So as of 3/11/2015,Spring Peepers have started to sing in my State. It's 51 degrees out there.

If it cools down I won't hear them, but when the temperature goes up,they start singing again. BF

Heart

Never heard of them, interesting. But, I've had a woodpecker working away if that counts.
There is so much ice in my driveway, so think that my car I parked a week ago slid out of the parking spot across and down the driveway. I thought the guys moved it from in front of the garage. I got in and re parked it because the trash haulers would be here early.

My door bell was ringing early, the trash haulers....was that my car across the driveway. AGAIN! I had to go out in pjs and move it back up so they could get to our dumpster, ugh.

I think my son got most of the ice broke up with the plow for it to stay out tonight. I can't wait until the next foot plus is finally melted. It was 48* today, yeah!

Yeah!!! It's warming up here. Di. I'm sorry that you are still dealing with ice.

I went to Youtube to find a Spring Peeper audio, and found them. I wish that I knew how to transfer a youtube audio link to here. Sometimes they are very loud. They were very loud at around 9:30 PM Wednesday night. I felt a burden lift off of my heart, and came inside. I love that sound. I always have loved to hear Spring Peepers in the Spring. I'm pretty sure that you have them in your area if you have a creek near by. They are small frogs with loud sounds. BF

Hey Mari. That's what I'm talking about. LOL They are noisy up close, but it's a nice kind of noise. They are out after the big freeze that we have had. They disappear before late Spring.

Di. They come out at night if it's in the 50s,or above. We had fog last night.

I drove down the road last night, and saw a large group deer. I haven't seen that many at one time. They were foraging where a corn field was last year,or the year before. BF

Fog has been in my area the last two or three days and nights. So much
so I'm cancelling my trip one hour away tonight. It is bothersome, I just
keep getting thoughts something will stop me from getting back home.

I know many years ago I wouldn't have worried. But now with grandson spending the night and getting on bus in mornings not coming home is not
possible.

Two nights ago, on I-65 we had lots of wrecks, so much so that it was
closed for over 15 hours. And then today one of our buses was in a accident, and down in southern indiana another bus was in a big accident. That bus
was on its side.

So home I'll be today.

I don't blame you Donna. I was going to drive the car down a road, and the fog was so dense,I couldn't see 10,to 15 feet in front of the car. I turned around, and went back home the way I came. There were allot of deer out that night.

I heard that a helicopter crashed into the Gulf of Mexico in the fog down there.

Where there is snow melting, there can be dense fog. BF

Yep BF.

Its that and the rain in our forecast for the last few and next couple
of days. I rarely have those problems. But I've learned to listen
to my premonitions. Last night might have been fine here. But no
telling in other areas.

Oh, I know that sound Steve, and Mari
thanks for posting. Lol, yup in the mountain with creek at the foot running through we have them. I haven't heard any yet, but the dang blasted woodpecker has been at it.

Glad for the above freezing temps even if it's only a day or two. My car slid out of its parking space down across the driveway twice now.
Will be wonderful to have the ice pack gone.
