Arrow FDA approves new type of sleep drug, Belsomra

Hi,

I saw my mdoc on Friday.

She reminded me that at my last visit she had given me some samples of
Belsomra / suvorexant -- a new sleep med with a completely new type of action.

. . . suvorexant aims at standing in the way of a keep-awake signal.

Merck’s marketing is likely to encourage the perception that suvorexant ends the dance by turning off the music, whereas a drug like Ambien knocks the dancer senseless.

It truly is a new chemical entity with a first-in-kind mechanism of action.

I might go look through my stuff to find the samples.
