A freaky thing happened to me tonight.
Jeff was gone to see a movie with a friend and I was snacky even though I had already had dinner at whole foods. So I picked up a cup of ramen noodles from the pantry. Riped off the plastic wrap and pulled back the sealed paper top to reveal a.... living COCK ROACH!!!! oh my god...... I freaked out. How can this be???? I was going to call jeff but he was in the movies then I called my sister and she calmed me down. Come to find out the roach had eaten his way thru the Styrofoam into the cup...there was a hole in the side of the cup easily visable once I turned it around. I have to say I was shaken up over this. I initially thought that this creature survived for years enclosed in this cup, eating hard ramen noodles.... geesh! bizi

I saw my therapist today. She asked me to think of someone in my life that I felt I could be accountable to...in regards to my afflictions, food, alcohol and internet.
I am not trying to quit alcohol forever just be moderate. I would never give up food!!!! nor would I give up the internet. So I am not sure what she meant by finding someone to be accountable to. What do you think she means? bizi

I think you are right mari.
I can't have someone else do this work for me. But I think maybe she was thinking like a sponsor...like AA. Maybe that is what she meant. She said someone who could be firm.... She suggested it as I was walking out the door. I did not really have time to respond. She is affiliated with the baptist association. She is in her 70's I like her for the most part. I have seen her twice now. This was the first of my mentioning my internet addiction.  bizi

She probably meant a friend or family member that you can discuss loose limits with in regards to those things and check in with them periodically so they can chastise you if you break them lol. No, seriously I think that's what she meant except the chastise part.
