I just talked to stephanie and we are going to go kayaking at lake martin. She has 2 kayaks to use so we won't have to rent them.
She is at a doctors appointment with her husband who has had abdominal pains but is some better....at the er last week they thought it was acute pancreatitis but did not admit him...now his regular nurse practitioner thinks it is something else. He is taking protonics which I don't know what that is, will google it. I just ate left over shrimp that I made last week. Have a great day all! bizi

Well things have changed...the weather is windy today so she doesn't think that makes for an easy paddle. So we are just going to go for a walk/hike at lake martin. It is very flat so not really any "hiking" involved.
I am disappointed but understand.... bizi

Well Stephanie and I ended up going to planet fitness and walking for an hour on the tred mill instead of lake martin.
we were spooked at the thought of mosquitos even though I had bought a new can of bug spray. Afterward, I ended up at whole foods meeting up with some friends and having several pints.. Mark treated. jeff joined us and we ate food therer, I had blacken chicken salad and jeff had sushi..my friend mark treated us all for drinks, he is wealthy and can afford it. We played trivia in the bar and had a lot of fun. Came home and had 2 nasty margaritas which I should just throw away, why did I do that???? ...and watched the very first episode of x-files it was good. jeff ordered season 8 but not 9. It should be in soon. I got up early and came into the guest bed room, feel terribly still and could not sleep. I will try the guest bed room after the house cools down some felt hot although the thermostat read 70 with the heat on. I want it 68 with the air on. I am my own worst enemy....I am supposed to work tomorrow.... heavy sigh bizi

Slept a little and got up at 7:30.
I feel fine. I just opened up the remaining 7 cans of nasty margarita beers and threw them away, recycling the cans of course. getting ready to go to work...it is going to be a busy day! Have a great weekend! bizi

got in at almost 7pm,
saw 6 people when I normally only see 4 so it was a busy day for a saturday. I was off yesterday so felt I needed to work today to play catch up. hubby cooked lemon pepper talapia and steamed broccolli, and left over apricot pineapple jello mold. It was very good. my girl friend gave me egg nog wine and it is delicious! bizi

Up earlier than my alarm clock not the best sleep because of the alcohol that I drank thru out the day yesterday. I am shooting to only drink friday night this week. Wish me luck!
Went to a christmas party last night and ate myself silly. Drank before the party to deal with my social anxiety. The party was fun. I even won a little door prize. Took a much needed shower and on to my second cup of coffee. Yesterday, I did manage to get all of my billing done still behind in my charting...sigh Am having company (stephanie and matt) for dinner tonight as jeff is away and I really don't like to be alone. We may watch a movie too. I am making "spagetti" using mushroom noodles. They are gluten free. We have had them before and they are delicious. I bought a container of chopped up veggies and will also add some spicy black beans to the spicy spagetti sauce. A one pot dish! Will serve left over jello mold to steph, hubby doesn't like pineapple. Getting ready to see my first client this morning will see 4 of them if all goes well. Jeff and I had a discussion about our finances. He bought another guitar and did not tell me about it....sigh. (I should have picked up on the signs.) He thinks he will sell one that has been on sale at a consignment shop for a long time. We have been saving for 10 years to take our 20th wedding anniversary trip next June. That time is quickly approaching. And we have yet to plan the trip. I think we will go to Italy and maybe paris a couple of days...maybe take one of those group tours. We have 6 months to plan so am not that worried about it. Jeff said we would start planning when we return in January. It looks like we will only go ever seas a week or so. Because we are working it into our Indiana trip in June. 4 days driving, 4 days visiting family,(2 before, 2 after trip) 7-9 days over seas( including 2 days of travel) and that is 15-17 days away for the entire trip. That is doable. In a short 3 weeks we will be gone for 2 weeks over the holidays, christmas and new years(my birthday with my twin)..renting a car again. Time is just flying! Thank you for reading. What a busy Saturday! It must have taken a lot of will power to get through that paperwork on your day off.
Your anniversary trip sounds so exciting! I can't wait to hear more about it when you and Jeff solidify your plans. Best of luck on your plans to restrict your drinking to Fridays! It sounds like a good idea

Finally had an alcohol free day today
thanks to having my friends over for dinner and they don't drink. Dinner was good. We watched some of a cat stevens dvd after dinner. It was really nice! Up 5 pounds in 3 weeks from drinking/eating. Not good... so hard to come off and so easy to gain back! bizi
