thank you for the suggestions. i cancelled the order for the syringes and baby food and will separate the food even more. as i have said in the past i always have food in the closet for pudge even when abby was alive. today I had to put it on the printer where Pudge was resting.

i did have a cat snowflake who had a few prolapsed colons and i had to forcefeed him with a syringe once because he wouldn't eat. it was a nightmare and a very slow recovery. when another surgeon operated on him the third time, he bounded right back.
