I'm so glad that you set up a new MH care team. I hope that they are both capable, professional, approachable, and caring. Having a good support system like that has the potential to make a big difference in your quality of life. I think this is a big step forward

I'm also happy to hear that you made arrangements to get the weighted blanket and it's on its way. It definitely has potential. I really hope it helps.

I have somehow managed to block most commercials out. I wish I could do that with more things. It drives my husband nuts because he will comment on something, or ask a question, and I have no foundation to answer him.

I watch and read enough news to know and understand what's going on. My husband absorbs enough to think he knows and understands what's going on and that's my #1 problem with the news. I hate to say it because he is my husband, but he is ignorant and loud about it. It takes a lot to educate him about what is really going on (because he thinks he's always right), but I will never be able to stop him from being hateful. It's fairly new. It's very upsetting.

However, yesterday I was watching Fox News, and one of the anchors was talking about the motivations for tragedies like what happened recently, and said, "lets's say he was just an angry bipolar person?" You better bet they got a very angry email from me because of that ignorant comment and I tweeted the crap out of that.

Yes Kay. I hate when the News says a negative about people with mental health issues. It could be people with a agenda, or their own wishes. I wish that they would stop it.

American comedians are insulting people with mental health challenges also. BF
