I drank a pint of beer tonight and had a steak (whicvh I took half home)
and baked potato with butter and sour cream and garlic bread. It was delicious! and not on my diet! bizi

You have a lot of traditions together at this beach spot. It sounds lovely
 My husband and I used to go to a lake in NH every year for our birthdays/anniversary and have some traditions of our own. I think these types of trips increase the bond between couples. |

Had many beers tonight.
did not eat too bad though. came home and watched the wonderful old "Independence Day" movie. It was great. I always cry during the movie. The president is such an inspiration....with his speech to the whole world. It is awesome!!!!! I have to work tomorrow. wondering if my girl friend will want to go to the dance tomorrow night with her hubby. Jeff plays with the sky liners big band music. I have not been in a long time. 20 piece band, 40's music. Alarm is set for 8.... bizi

The concert sounds awesome! Big band music and dancing! I hope your friends will go with you because it sounds like a lot of fun
You were up late last night for an 8am alarm. I hope you did get some good quality sleep. Re: Mentioning increased drinking on diet thread… are you still having some hypo symptoms? That would make things hard to reign in

sleeping was terrible last night....
sigh work went fine.... cooked pork chops and a seasoned mixture of organic lentils and edemome steamed in the microwave...was not good, over cooked the pork chops....sigh so it was not my best dinner. anyway. had one beer with dinner, now I feel like I need a nap. Am not going to hubby's jazz band concert, girl friend backed out on me. And I don't drink and drive and I have gone and listened by myself before and that is not any fun. Another time..... bizi

I'm sorry your plans fell through Bizi. I don't think I'd have fun sitting on the sidelines alone at a concert, especially if there was dancing (not that I can dance anymore).
I hate it when I overcook pork chops… they can get so dry. I'm sorry your dinner didn't turn out better. I hope you slept better last night

I slept like a rock last night, hubby is better so I am less concerned in that regard. I used to have chronic constipation too. The only thing that works for me is Magnesium oxide from cvs pharmacy. It is the generic form of Phillips caplets. I used to take 2 caplets but that was too much. now I take 1 1/2 and that seems to be too much too. tonight I will take just 1 and see how it goes.
bizi I hate being constipated!!!!!!

I hope you are not getting sick, too
I take so much seroquel it's rare I can't sleep now, but insomnia and I were once good friends. I don't miss it… I hope the klonopin worked and you were able to get back to sleep fast. (I'll respond to the constipation on my thread) |

Thanks kay, I feel fine this am,
(just a tickling in my throat that caused the cough) I did get back to sleep thank goodness for klonipin. (usually .5mg does the trick) I have these extras 1 mgs about 50 of them from before when they were prescribed at a higher dosage that I hoarded. So I have extras. I just don't want to use them all up as my pdoc doesn't know that I take extra. She doesn't like me taking them period since I drink. I don't want to run out! bizi
