I am getting ready to start therapy again...looking at our health insurance policies to see coverages of the different plans. Depending upon how often I see her will help to decide if we are going to switch plans.
bizi But realistically I think we will stay with the current plan. And I will just pay her full amount per visit. Changing plans means paying at least $265 more a month. far less deductible ( ours is $4k right now)and having a copay of $25 per visit. bizi

It varies when I see her. I think in the summer, before I could get in to see the pdoc, it might have been every two weeks.
Maybe a few times it was once a week. She helped me feel better about some things before I traveled to see my brother in July. And I needed to talk to her about the trip when I came home as well. But then we went about five weeks because my work schedule was too unpredictable with meetings popping up and I was doing every two weeks with the pdoc when the meds were not in place yet. M |

Bizi,
At my workplace, they advised us that the low premium plan was for the younger people with no ongoing health concerns. They advised those of us who need to regularly see the doctor, to take the plan with the higher premiums. M |

Regarding HR:
They told us that the main decision concerned hospitalization. A. On the low premium plan, one hospitalization could be financially devastating due to high out of pocket co-papys. Also it is would take us years to pay it off. B. On the high premium plan, hospitalization is mostly paid --- that is how I determine which plan is best for hubby and me and he does what I tell him rather than spend too much time thinking about it. It can be distressing thinking about these things, but they are important. M |

It's an important thing to consider. There are other unpleasant things to consider, too. It takes me a while to decide which policy to pick every year given my medical and mental health problems.

I am fine.
Today I have an appt with the dentist for 1. three month cleaning and 2. discussion about a new mouth guard for teeth grinding. =-= The last time I had taken too much Klonopin but had had the timing perfect -- a little over an hour because I showed up too early for the appt. For this appt, I need to take a little less Klonopin and set an alarm to get the timing right. M |
