Default managing meds

Friday night, for the first time, I took a little bit of temazapam for sleep.
I woke up feeling awful. I did not connect my inability to function to the med. The hangover lasted the whole day and into the night -- almost to mid night.

Instead, I went through lots of worst case scenarios about my inability to
care for myself..
I watched a lot of tv and tried not to think too much.

Around midnight I finally remembered that the messed up day was caused
by the temazapam and not by a worsening of my condition.

I'm sorry you had such a terrible day Mari

Sometimes I don't pick up on things like that as quickly as I should, and worry it's other things, too... not fun

Red face

It took a second time of having a reaction to sulfa drugs to connect my mouth ulcers to sulfa.

Lightbulb

It is chilly in the house. Hubby just woke up to gently ask that it be warmer here, but I can only figure out how to get the complicated heating system to work every once in awhile.
Tonight it is not cooperating

I gave him a blanket. (He only had a sheet).

In order to learn the electronic system to work to get some heat, we would both have to be awake at the same time and in good enough moods.

Frustrating!!!

We have an old-fashioned dial, and can never get the heat set where we want it. It drives us nuts.

old dial here, 68 degrees for winter, 72 for summer, but we turn down the air in the summer while we are gone to work so come home to a stuffy house.
I like to sleep in cooler temps, we have a down comforter.
I could never sleep with just a sheet!
burr.

It is 67 degrees outside and probably the same inside.
I am freezing after two nights and mornings in a row of these temperatures.

We have a plumber here installing a new hot water heater.
I will have to wait for him to finish before hubby is willing to deal with the air conditioner/heater because
hubby insists on doing one thing at a time.

Default felt really depressed the first two thirds of the day

Hubby stood and talked to the plumbers the whole time they were working.
It was good for him to learn, but I think it "stressed" him out because he was
uptight afterwards.

I saw pdoc. We are increasing the lithium.
We decided to take it three times a day and to
take it early enough that the anxiety does not interfere with bed time.
If I do need help with sleep, she prefers Lunesta to extra Klonopin.
I see in her three or four weeks -- cannot remember.

I bought a decent sweater at the mall on the way home from pdoc.

I can't sleep without my comforter either.
67 degrees is too cold for me, too. Setting the thermostat at 70 in here during the winter isn't warm enough for me either, but that may be our thermostat or the building. IDK.

I'm glad that you feel comfortable enough to increase the lithium. I hope that the new dose, and the new dosing schedule works out del for you.

How do you feel about the Lunesta? Do you have a history with it?
