It's so hard to keep things inside, but I completely understand your desire/need to shield your husband from the majority of the issues you are dealing with
I can't confide in my husband either, and try to protect him. Getting healthier was partially driven by a need to make things better for him. It can be quite an incentive. I'm sorry that it seems like your husband may be effected by some of the issues you are experiencing. A lot of times, when people are having trouble, it's hard to see the effect they are having on others, so it's wonderful that you've been able to pick up on (what seems like the subtle) changes in his moods, and you want to make life better for you both I have no doubt that you are trying to get better already. I hope that your pdoc gives you the tools you need to make use of your new motivation |

He exercises. He does yoga at the gym and at home.
He walks/jogs in our park. Sometimes he does weights in the gym. There was a period when I felt that I was in crisis all the time and needed him not to wake me up to go to the gym. I asked him to no do early morning workouts. I am a little bit better about the mornings. Last night I took lunesta so that I knew he would not wake me up in the morning. Today he went to the gym in the morning for a few hours and came home and is taking a long nap. M |

He backed off exercising for a while when I begged him not to work out early.
He mostly does yoga at home or on the weekends at the morning gym class. At the park he walks and jogs a few days a week for 4 miles. THe exercise relaxes him. |

>Last night I changed the settings on the air conditioner/heater and cooled things off a little because it
felt too hot inside to sleep. >Tonight I need to change the setting again because I feel too cold to sleep. =-=- Is there a chance that my body is smarter (more sensitive) than the equipment? The machine wanders around a little within a two or three degree range. Hubby prefers that I not touch the thing. I mess around with it when I think he is fast asleep and will not notice. I see pdoc Thursday afternoon. I will have to tell her that I stopped her horrible lithium. These are the only changes that have worked since I started seeing her in June 2016: 1. increased gabapentin from 200 to 300 at night 3. added small dose lunesta some nights M |

It's impossible to keep our apartment at a consistent comfortable temperature no matter what we do. It's so frustrating...
I'm sorry that the lithium didn't work out for you. How well do you function when on your meds with just the two changes you made? If I remember correctly, when she offered you the lithium, the other option was trying a tricyclic anti-depressant. How do you feel about trying one of the newer ones? |

good morning mari. I am glad that the 2 meds have helped you some. That is a good thing. I hope you have a good session with your pdoc today.
