'Saw pdoc.

We are keeping the meds the same.

I see her in a month -- the longest I have gone without seeing her.
I am happy to have a break from those frequent appts we have been doing
since June.

She encouraged me to go to bed earlier so I am not tired/hungover the next day.

The going to bed thing is extraordinarily complicated and lifelong.

Yes.

Forty dollars co-pay for each visit. I invested much time in the pdoc getting
used to me. I think that she "understands" me now.
Also, I am happy that she can trust me if I need to ask for extra meds and such.

The pdoc essentially is monitoring me.
I wish I could get actual help because I spend lots of energy avoiding triggers.
I am having a VERY hard time with going to work and with doing any work at home.
So frustrating and depressing.

I am sorry you are having a very hard time. I really wish things were easier for you.
Have you ever tried melatonin for sleep? 1mg-20mgs is safe from what I read.

For a long time I was seeing my pdoc every two weeks, every week, and sometimes twice a week at $30 a whack. For the first time since January of 2015, I just set my an appointment for 6 weeks out. It takes a lot of energy to keep up with those appointments, and the copays add up.

I wish that your pdoc could do more than just monitor you. You are clearly still struggling and feeling dejected at this point. I know that you have been through a ton of meds, and have suffered through so many side effects that you probably need a break from kissing frogs, but I hope she can come up with some kind of plan to control your symptoms and help you function better, and feel better, when you are ready to try something new

Re most of her meds: I do not know if every med on the market works or not because I cannot get past the initial side effects.

The initial side effects make things impossible for me.
Any med that is going to make me anxious (thus needing Klonopin or similar) or too sleepy in the day time is the wrong med.

I cannot experiment again until next summer.

=-=-=-

I need to hold on to my job more than I need to be less depressed or less sleep deprived.

The side effects from trying a new med can mess up a morning (good luck
waking up on time) or a whole day (calling in sick).
It is not possible for me to take time off work for a few months while we try out new medications.
